This year's Greater Pittston Person of the Year is awarded posthumously to  Pennsylvania State Trooper 

Joshua D. Miller,  Trooper Miller died in the line of duty in 2009. Family, friends and members of the community 

will gather to  honor  Trooper Miller and his family .

Joseph Saporito Lifetime of Service Award Winner - Maria Capolarella-Montante  will be awarded the trophy for her 

many years of service to the community.

Higher Sound Studio will again this year film the Greater Nanticoke Youth Group's 

production of  THE LIVING STATIONS, at Holy Trinity Church in Nanticoke.  Dates will be posted

DVD DOCUMENTARY  - "THE CLOSING OF ST FRANCIS "

Higher Sound Studios has undertaken a project to document the closing of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. A documentary written  and narrated by Judy Minsavage and filmed and produced, by Jack  Minsavage of Higher Sound Studios, is now is completed. Several members of the congregation participated in the filming and sharing of memories connected with church. The DVD is now  available by calling 570-735-0552.
